Touch-up markers are great for touching up show through bobbin thread. However, they should be used only in very small areas.
Show through bobbin thread can be covered with just a touch of the tip of the pen. Marking up large areas can result in ink seeping through the bobbin fiber into the thread and finally into the garment. And remember, if the situation has gone beyond the pen's ability to cover a mistake, it may be time to remove the embroidery from the article and start over again.
