This Serrated Tracing Wheel by Dritz is an excellent tool for marking multiple layers and bulky fabrics.
Use with tracing paper to transfer pattern markings for darts, pleats, tucks, pockets and buttonholes to the fabric.
Will transfer markings through a double thickness of most fabrics.

Instructions:
Always test to be sure that wheel will not damage the fabric.
- Work on a protected hard surface.
- Use a See-Thru Dressmaker's Ruler as a guide for tracing straight lines.
- Mark on the wrong side of the fabric only, following instructions on the Tracing Paper package.
- Apply even pressure.
- To keep the fabric from bunching up, roll the blade with a forward, then slightly backward motion as you trace along the line. Hold the fabric taut in front of the tracing wheel.
Please Note:To mark lightweight, pile, or delicate fabrics, you may prefer to use the Smooth Tracing Wheel.
